• “It was interesting, because we went up and down the scale in terms of how put out Hux would be by it. And Oscar was actually there – Oscar read his lines off camera for that, which is a really cool thing to do, so we could feel the energy in the room.”
  

On Hux surviving TLJ

• “I’ll be honest, I was very surprised that I survived. I kind of imagined myself getting blown up in a ship pretty early on… but spoiler alert, I suppose. There’s also that moment where Ren is on the ground, and it looks like maybe I’ll finish him. [Chuckles] What stake would the franchise be in if Snoke and Ren are gone, and it’s just Hux going, ‘Right! This is how we go’? Can you imagine how annoyed people would have been?
